datingbuzz.co.za is another simple, well designed south African dating website that gives a lot at the first glance, you just want to feel everything even before signing up.

The homepage really tells you a lot about this Site, you can have a quick search to see if the kind of person you hope to meet, is on the site, when you click on the Find tab, then you can also subscribe to become a “premium” member from a one month subscription up to twelve months and can also give a fellow three days subscription as a gift, which is the first I’ve ever seen. Clicking on the help button would give you access to Frequently Asked Questions, which i recommend all members and intending members to read, it’s almost like a “site manual” which would help intimate you with how the website works and its different features which you may overlook, still on the help page is the the “Report Abuse” button, with the recent cases of online bullying which has lead to the death of young adults, i think this is an awesome feature as i can’t recall seeing this on a dating website, it’s mostly on social networks. There is a “safety tips” page, now, for all we know, dating websites want all your data and personal information, now this page tells you on how not to give it all away and be a little mysterious, it basically teaches you how to be safe online and how to identify scammers, and with all the stories of how meeting up with someone online has led to the death of people, it’s safety tips also give some advice on how to go about meeting someone up on the first date. It’s privacy policy page would tell you just how safe you information is with them, where it is stored and how you can delete it if you wish to. The terms and conditions pages basically reads you the “riot act” on what you have agreed to by deciding to become a member. There is a restriction on the number of pictures to upload and the size of each picture which should not be more than 4MB which i think is still too low with the quality of cameras around and even on smartphones, but one restriction i found meaning was the ban on the use of celebrity pictures as your profile picture, this is something i feel most dating websites should try and copy to help fellow members from being scammed.

Still on the home page, if you are not sure you can find “true love” here, looking downwards you would see a “success stories” tab, where members who seem to have found their “missing ribs”share their success stories and tell you how amazing the site is. Also beside is a “glossary” tab which gives out like a decision of the basic terms you would come across as you become a member of this Site.

Even if you don’t want to become a member of this website, the amount of useful information one can get is enough for you to change your mind, they really make one earn their trust. I think other dating websites can copy this from them, information is power and I’ve never seen a dating website with such amount of information all most of them care about are just having the members and that’s it. The website also looks like it’s being used by matured and responsible people.
